001Who we look for

Two ways in.

Bring an insight or bring a product. Both start the same way.

01

Insight

  • You know the market.
  • You speak to your audience.
  • You understand how to make it more efficient.
02

Product

  • You have built an MVP.
  • You tested first hypothesis.
  • You gathered first users.
002What we provide

You don't hire a team. You plug into ours.

From day one you get the studio's operators — the people who already run this for our founders.

  • 01

    Publishing

We're the publisher: App Store, Google Play, merchant setup.

  • 02

    Growth & UA

ASO, creative and paid acquisition, from our playbooks.

  • 03

    Finance

Operating budget funded against your milestones.

  • 04

    Legal & IP

    Contracts and structure, handled.

  • 05

    Infrastructure

Repos, release pipelines, hosting, observability — pre-wired.

  • 06

    Community

A room of founders and domain experts working on the same problem you are.

  • 07

    Guidance

Weekly working sessions with the operators who run growth, product and go-to-market.

  • 08

    Capital

$100k+ deployed against growth once the business is ready to absorb it.

003How it works

Four steps.One call.

An application, one call, and you're building.

  1. 1Step 1

    Apply.

A quick sign-up on the platform — minutes. You hear back within 3 business days.

  2. 2Step 2

    Call, then sign.

One working call with the studio, a quick KYC, and the agreement — we walk you through everything before you sign.

  3. 3Step 3

    Onboard.

We take over legal, publishing and the operational load, and wire you into the studio's infrastructure.

  4. 4Step 4

    Start working on your project.

You're back in the product with the studio's operators running everything around it.

004Vision

The cost of building collapsed. The solo-founder era is here.

AI collapsed the cost of building — one person now ships what took a team. What's left in the way isn't code: it's publishing, distribution, finance, legal, ops. That's the half we run.

  • 01

Building a product now fits in one operator's hands.

  • 02

The bottleneck moved to distribution, finance and operations — what a solo founder can't carry alone.

  • 03

So we built a studio that runs that half and earns alongside you.

006FAQ

What solo foundersusually ask first.

Straight answers, no marketing fog. If your question isn't here, write to us — a real person replies.

01What do you count as an MVP?

Something a real person can use end to end. Rough edges, missing features and a ceiling on scale are all fine — what matters is that it works for the core job it was built for, and that it has been in front of users outside your circle. If you can describe what happened when someone tried it, you have an MVP.

02How do I know my insight is worth bringing to you?

Three things make an insight actionable: you have spent real time inside the market, you can reach the people who feel the problem, and you can describe the inefficiency in one sentence without hedging. If you have those, bring it — the shape of the product is what the first call is for.

03I have an insight but no product. Is this for me?

Yes. The Insight track exists for exactly this. What we need from you is market depth and access to your audience — the build is what the studio does.

04I have a product but I am not a domain expert in its market. Is that a problem?

No. Traction is its own evidence. The Product track is for founders who have already shipped something and put it in front of users.

05What happens between the two tracks after I apply?

The application routes you based on your answers. There is no separate form to fill and no wrong door — apply once and the platform handles the rest.

06What is 17VLT?

17VLT is a venture studio for solo founders and domain experts. You lead the product or market insight; we operate the business around it — publishing, payments, analytics and infrastructure — so it can scale professionally. The exact terms are set before onboarding.

07Do you take equity?

We're a venture studio: we co-own the companies we build with you. The exact terms are in your agreement, and we walk you through every one on the call — before you sign anything.

08How is this different from an accelerator or a VC?

An accelerator gives a check and three months; a VC buys a minority stake and steps back. We co-found and operate the company with you for the life of the product. Either side can exit under the agreement.

09What exactly do I get from the studio?

Access to the studio's team across publishing, legal, finance, infrastructure and marketing — from the first day of your onboarding. Shared resources, professional execution.

10Do I keep control of the product?

Yes. You lead product decisions. If you arrive with a product already live, the studio may handle the publishing and operational wrapper — including the App Store and Google Play consoles — as agreed with you before onboarding. If you arrive with an insight, product ownership and operating responsibilities are defined together before the build starts.

11Who can apply?

There are two ways in. Apply with an insight if you know a market deeply, can reach its audience and can name the inefficiency. Apply with a product if you have a working MVP, tested a first hypothesis and put it in front of real users. You apply once; the platform routes you from your answers.

12What if the project doesn't work out?

Then we wind it down under the terms agreed before onboarding, and you owe the studio nothing for the operating support already provided. We earn only when the business does.

13How does selection work?

Application → scoring → one onboarding call with the studio → contract review → KYC → signing → portal activation. A single call; the contract review happens after the call.

14What does it cost? Are there hidden fees?

No fee to participate. We carry the upfront load — infrastructure, legal, publishing — and recover operating costs from revenue before returns are distributed, as set out in your agreement.

15Can I leave the studio?

Yes. If the studio holds publisher accounts or other operating assets while we work together, an exit is handled contractually — how the product, accounts and assets transition is written into your agreement before you sign, not left to chance. We would rather you understand the exit terms going in than discover them later.

16What if I arrive with a product already live in my own App Store account?

That is common and fine. If you arrive with a product already live, the studio can migrate it into its publishing accounts so it can run payments, store relations and releases. We walk through the transfer for your case before anything moves.

17What if I already have a legal entity?

Also common. We review your existing structure during onboarding and fit the cooperation around it where it works, or recommend the appropriate structure where it does not. You will not be forced to abandon something that already serves you.

18What if I already have an investor?

It depends on the terms — bring it to the call. What matters is that the studio's operating model and profit participation do not conflict with commitments you have already made. If there is a structural conflict, we will tell you clearly and quickly.

19Do I need to be in a specific country to apply?

No. Founders and domain experts apply from anywhere — the studio operates remotely and the legal and publishing infrastructure sits on the studio's side. What matters is the opportunity and the fit, not your location.
